This floor is home to the boy's lavatory, as well as the Study of Ancient Runes Classroom. There's also the Glanmore Peakes Corridor for those of you who are mischevious enough to look for any hidden merchandise from before the Weasley twins left school.

This floor is famous for the Room of Requirement where the legendary trio had held the meetings of Dumbledore's Army. Amaizingly enough the room still works after the use of fiend fire during the Battle For Hogwarts. The Headmistress' office is located on this floor as well as the Arithmancy classroom.

Although staff have the right to apperate to their home and spend the night with their partner when they are no longer needed at the school for the night, some staff members choose to spend the night at Hogwarts. This is where they sleep. Beware, they may not like being disturbed at night.

| astronomy tower
The Astronomy Tower is the tallest tower at Hogwarts Castle. It is where students study the stars and planets through their telescopes in Astronomy lessons with Professor Jasper Dumbledore. This is usually done at midnight where the stars are best seen. The tower is usually out-of-bounds except for classes.

The Bell Towers are two square towers that rise over the main entrance to the Greenhouses of Hogwarts Castle. Between the two towers are a set of double wooden doors which lead along the first floor corridor.

| clock tower
The Clock Tower is one of the features of Hogwarts Castle. There are many gears and bells inside that run the tower. There is an old courtyard at its base, and at the top is the clear glass dial of the clock. There is space at the top for a person to either work on the clock or to stand and look out over the courtyard. The Clock Towers bells chime on the hour and at the start and end of lessons.

The Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of Hogwarts, the staircase leading up to the common room is presumably located on the fifth floor, and is the location of the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories. The entrance to the room is at the top of a spiral staircase, and is a door without doorknob or keyhole but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room, a person must answer a question asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right.

The North Tower is one of the many towers in the castle. The tower is the location for Divination classes and the Divination teacher's office. The entrance consists of a ladder leading through a trap door.

The Forbidden Forest is forbidden to all students, as it home to many types of dangerous and foreign creatures, such as centaurs, Thestrals, unicorns, Hippogriffs and Acromantula. Hagrid once hid his giant half-brother, Grawp within the trees of this forest. Students serving detention sentences with Christian will often find themselves in the forest.

The Hogwarts Lake is a large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it. It is home to a giant squid and a colony of Merpeople.

The school has its own Quidditch pitch where each house's Quidditch teams practice and play games against each other. Each year will see a total of six inter-house matches, along with numerous training sessions by each house team.

| hog's head
The Hog's Head is an inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade. The bar at the Hog's Head comprises one small, very dirty, and dingy room that has bay windows that are so encrusted with filth that you can barely see through them. The place is filled with rough wooden tables that generally have nothing except the stubs of candles sitting upon their surfaces. The concrete floor of the place is so dirty that it looks as though there is not a floor at all, but instead that the building is simply built on open ground. The Hog's Head is owned by Alphonse Dumbledore.

Located at 93 Diagon Alley, it is a joke shop in owned by Fred and George Weasley. It sells practical joke objects, such as Extendable Ears, a Reusable Hangman, and Fred and George's special WonderWitch products, such as love potions and ten-second pimple remover. There is also a section of Muggle magic tricks in honour of their father Arthur. They're not big sellers, but they do fairly well.

Gringotts is the only known bank of the wizarding world. It was created by the goblin Gringott. It is located in Diagon Alley and is owned and run by Goblins. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards, one can go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money.

Knockturn Alley is a shopping area off Diagon Alley in London. It is filled with shops devoted to the Dark Arts, including Borgin and Burkes, which specialises in objects that have curious and strong magical properties. Usually, unusual and dangerous people walk around there. When Tom Riddle graduated from Hogwarts he worked at Borgin and Burkes.
