This is also known as the first floor. This floor has the Hufflepuff Common Room, Entrance Hall, Great Hall, and a classroom which oddly enough is similar to a forest.

This floor is home to Ted Lupin’s office. Whither you be there for a detention, remedial Defense Against the Dark Arts classes, or just for a chat it is bound to be an unforgettable experience. This floor is also home to the History of Magic Classroom and Muggle Studies Classroom.

This floor houses a secret passage to Honeydukes cellar. Its also home of the Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom and to the trophy room where there's bound to be someone who's polishing those trophies. The Hospital wing can also be found here, so please... be quiet.

This is probably only a well known floor to Ravenclaw's as the Library is located here. There's also a storage room and the students' bathroom here to.

This floor is home to the prefect's bathroom and the girl's lavatory.

This floor is home to the boy's lavatory, as well as the Study of Ancient Runes Classroom. There's also the Glanmore Peakes Corridor for those of you who are mischevious enough to look for any hidden merchandise from before the Weasley twins left school.

The Astronomy Tower is the tallest tower at Hogwarts Castle. It is where students study the stars and planets through their telescopes in Astronomy lessons with Professor Jasper Dumbledore. This is usually done at midnight where the stars are best seen. The tower is usually out-of-bounds except for classes.

The Bell Towers are two square towers that rise over the main entrance to the Greenhouses of Hogwarts Castle. Between the two towers are a set of double wooden doors which lead along the first floor corridor.

The Clock Tower is one of the features of Hogwarts Castle. There are many gears and bells inside that run the tower. There is an old courtyard at its base, and at the top is the clear glass dial of the clock. There is space at the top for a person to either work on the clock or to stand and look out over the courtyard. The Clock Towers bells chime on the hour and at the start and end of lessons.

The Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of Hogwarts, the staircase leading up to the common room is presumably located on the fifth floor, and is the location of the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories. The entrance to the room is at the top of a spiral staircase, and is a door without doorknob or keyhole but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room, a person must answer a question asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right.

The Forbidden Forest is forbidden to all students, as it home to many types of dangerous and foreign creatures, such as centaurs, Thestrals, unicorns, Hippogriffs and Acromantula. Hagrid once hid his giant half-brother, Grawp within the trees of this forest. Students serving detention sentences with Christian will often find themselves in the forest.

The Hogwarts Lake is a large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it. It is home to a giant squid and a colony of Merpeople.

The Hog's Head is an inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade. The bar at the Hog's Head comprises one small, very dirty, and dingy room that has bay windows that are so encrusted with filth that you can barely see through them. The place is filled with rough wooden tables that generally have nothing except the stubs of candles sitting upon their surfaces. The concrete floor of the place is so dirty that it looks as though there is not a floor at all, but instead that the building is simply built on open ground. The Hog's Head is owned by Alphonse Dumbledore.

Sometimes simply referred to as Madam Malkin's, it is a shop in Diagon Alley. Students get their Hogwarts school uniforms there, and also dress robes, travelling cloaks, and the like.

A shop in Diagon Alley. Its main products are things having to do with Quidditch such as Quaffles, Bludgers, and broomsticks.

Located at 93 Diagon Alley, it is a joke shop in owned by Fred and George Weasley. It sells practical joke objects, such as Extendable Ears, a Reusable Hangman, and Fred and George's special WonderWitch products, such as love potions and ten-second pimple remover. There is also a section of Muggle magic tricks in honour of their father Arthur. They're not big sellers, but they do fairly well.

Gringotts is the only known bank of the wizarding world. It was created by the goblin Gringott. It is located in Diagon Alley and is owned and run by Goblins. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards, one can go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money.

A pet shop located in Diagon Alley that sells owls and things that will help owls, like Owl Treats. It sells a variety of breeds, including Screech, Barn, Tawny, Brown, and Snowy.
